Form I-751 Petition to Remove Conditions

If you obtained your conditional resident status through marriage to a U.S. citizen or permanent resident, you’ll need to use Form I-751 to apply to the USCIS to remove the conditions on your residence to receive your 10-year green card. The following steps will walk you through the 7 sections of the I-751 form that you need to complete. Provide your full, legal name, address, mailing address and personal information.The basis for the petition. If you are removing conditions jointly with your spouse, check â€Å"a.† If you are a child filing an independent petition, check â€Å"b†. List the date and place of your marriage and your spouses date of death, if applicable. Otherwise, write â€Å"N/A.† Check yes or no for each of the remaining questions.Information about the spouse or parent. Special Instructions Note on Filing Fee From USCIS: Please include the base petition fee plus an $85 biometric services fee for all conditional resident applicants. Each conditional resident child listed under Part 5 of this form, who is a dependent seeking to remove the conditional status and regardless of the child’s age, is required to submit an additional biometric services fee of $85.
